SIS Students needs know how to help the poor and needy

a new released news from SIS, what can SIS students do if we has extra moneys? there are some tips for SIS students, perhaps it will helps.

1. give a portion of your allowance each week to a poor and needy .

how much will you make for a week ? how much will you spend on the weekend with your friend ? how much will you spend for bake sale?　SIS students needs instance, instead of dishing out a dollar for drink in drink machine, saves it and give it to Mrs. Mili or red cross.

2. talk about it in your youth group

instead talk about the games during the break time, its better we can discussion about how to join in community designed to helps poors and needy. you don't have to come up with a plan all at once but discussing this will start the proccess and keep it in people's mind.

3. Visit a poor part of World

no only for Saipan, i am sure that, there are many places worse than Saipan such as Africa. SIS students can go as a group go to the poor place help them build construction and check condition for living for them.

4.Do a class presentation on poverty

talk to teachers, like Mr.lee or Mr.Tessen and ask for a period of time to do your power point presentation about poor in your community and show the human face of poverty.

5 don't just collect money.

don't just collect money or give some poor people easily. we need give the right organization

such as red cross. give money distributed.

6.collect money in your group

after your meeting with teacher, pass around a box to collect donations for the poors and needy.

better make this monthly and sending money off after consulting everyone on which cause it should be sent for.
